BIOGRAPHY
Hi all, I am Wayne, an experienced and creative Mandarin and English language trainer living in Shanghai. I have a master degree in teaching Chinese as a second language as well as in English language and literature. I have accumulated extensive teaching experience over the past nine years, giving training to over eight hundred individuals, ranging from overseas students, business professionals, executives, entrepreneurs and diplomats. I’ve provided training at both college and corporate level, not only to language students, but to language teachers as well.
Being an avid language learner myself, I am well aware of the struggles you may find yourself dealing with when it comes to learning a foreign language. For each student, I’ll identify your weakness and adopt a personalized approach that works best for you. I am great with students of all levels (having taught as many total beginners as intermedaite/advanced students), and for those who are just starting out to learn Mandarin or struggling to "survive" in China, I have a particularly effective approach. Typically, my students will be able to hold confident, functional conversation in most daily situations after 40 hours' instructions.
