BIOGRAPHY
I offer Mandarin lessons to children, teenagers and adults. I have a master degree in linguistics and currently work in a university in Shanghai as Chinese language teacher. One way or another, languages have been a very important part of my life and I try that it becomes the same to my students.
EXPERIENCE
I started tutoring students five years ago when in college, for a Mandarin school. Now I am officially teaching foreign students in university for listening, reading and spoken Chinese. When I taught Chinese, my priority was to be sure that all my students were able to reach their goal. That meant learning the language in order to use it their basic lives, career, profession and job where they can use it to there advantage. Knowing that all students learn in different ways, I use different methods in order to help students acquire the use of the language (the different methods such as watching videos, DVDs, CDs, reading books, magazines, newspapers, having conversations, different situations, and lastly taking them to places where they can practice the language and listen to the language to incorporate the practice in real life).
Price
You pay tuition based on how many hours you book (minimum 40 at a time) plus a fixed one-time service fee.

Note:
1. The above rates are based on 2+ hours of teaching per time. If you study ﹤2 hours per time, expect a 25%-50% raise in rates or consider on-line tutoring.
2. Final prices might vary according to the tutor's popularity, commuting distance, time and frequency of lessons (within ± 20% range). Confirmation shall be given after booking.
3. If you prefer to study in a group instead of 1-1, you need to find other students and form the group on your own.
One-time Service Fee:
400rmb for 1-1 private tuition regardless of tutoring length. If you study in a group, there will be a 200rmb surcharge on service fee for each additional student studying in the group. Textbook, if used, is to be paid separately by the actual price of the book. What service do I get?
Min. Hours:
Minimum 40 tutoring hours are required for us to process any booking.
